I always knew that I wanted to be in a position to teach others all the wonders of CNC Machining, to help with the development of the next generation of manufacturing specialists, to contribute in my own small way to the future of American Manufacturing.

I started machining in 1996 with the intent of modifying and building high performance engines for cars. I got interested in CNC Programming while operating swiss-style turning centers, making parts for airbags. Programming led to process development, cycle time reduction, error proofing, work holding optimization, and cutting tool applications. Along this journey I was always studying and learning about Lean Manufacturing and Quality Systems.

In 2000, I developed my first business plan.  The company was on paper and in my head for the next 12 years. I knew that I could support large contract shops with their supply chain, well aware that they are often over-burdened and struggling to trust smaller shops to handle the stringent demands for quality and productivity driven by their aerospace and medical customers.
